Reform Institute for Development pays a visit to Kurdistan Parliament
On Tuesday 18 June,2019; Reform Institute for Development (RID) paid a visit to parliament with the Public Participation Platform (3p) coordinators to discuss the civic issues in the region with the committee of civil society, youth and culture.
In the meeting, the head of the committee, Loqman Wardy pointed out the mission and duties of the committee with the necessary of having a close coordination with the civil society organizations.
On his side, Dr. Dana Sofi, the head of Reform Institute highlights the projects and activities have been implemented in the last four years that focused on the enhancing democracy in the region. He added on the importance of the coordination and teamwork with the parliament.
In conclusion, both sides stressed on the essential future cooperation to write and project law related to the electronic media and access to information.
